101 in 1001

Ever sit and think about something you'd like to do, or keep telling yourself that you'll find time to do? Here's 101 things that I've been trying to 'find time' to do. And today starts the 1001 days in which I will do all of these  things. 

I have had a few friends do this 101 in 1001 plan, so don't give me credit for that. I'd just like to push myself to do some of the things that I keep putting off, or put at the bottom of my to do list every week.

ENVIRONMENT

1.     Update The Color Green blog once a month for a year
2.     Start a vegetable garden
3.     Grow a tree from seed
4.     Use homemade compost to fertilize plants
5.     Celebrate Earth Day
6.     Spend a day waste-free
7.     Collect trash for one week. Work on decreasing waste produced
8.     Plant a tree
9.     Report/blog on water usage for one week, work on decreasing water used

EDUCATION

10.  Take a continuing education course - writing this list, i was not anticipating being in grad school.
11.  Learn Spanish
12.  Become LEED Green Associate
13.  Become LEED Accredited Professional
14.  Read 4 non-fiction books - Detroit by Charlie LeDuff
15.  Take a cooking class
16.  Take a carpentry class
17.  Host a book swap

CREATE
18.  Open an Etsy Store
19.  Sew throw pillows and dresser runner - Pillows done! 
20.  Complete 3 furniture renovation projects - Bookshelf
21.  Update Homemade Happens blog once a month for a year
22.  Finish crocheting blanket
23.  Make 10 gifts, instead of buying them - It was 3 different projects, but about 15 gifts total
24.  Bake or cook something new every month
25.  Make homemade soap
26.  Make homemade shampoo
27.  Make homemade cleaning products
28.  Finish pot holders and apron
29.  Make a snowman
30.  Take a photo a day for at least a month - #100happydays
31.  Make homemade jam
32.  Make soup from scratch - Butternut squash soup! :) yumm. 
33.  Make a loaf of bread
